Stainless Steel Wire Rope
Knight Precision Wire supplies a range of stainless steel wire rope for use in Industry, rigging, display, point of sale and architectural applications. Knight Precision Wire also offers specialised stainless steel strands for use in the medical and orthodontic industries.
Materials
The principal material used for stainless steel wire rope is 316 stainless steel, although grade 304 is also available. Knight Precision Wire also supply ungalvanised and galvanised steel wire rope, and PVC or nylon covered wire rope.
Medical and orthodontic strand wire normally uses 304 grade stainless steel, although other grades are available on request.
Sizes
Stainless wire rope is available in standard sizes from 0.5mm diameter up to 8.0mm diameter.
The form of construction is dependent on application, but stainless steel wire rope is available in standard forms of 7 x 19, 1 x 19 and 7 x 7. Specific details are available on request.
Plastic coated steel wire rope is available in all of the above sizes and construction.
Packaging
Steel wire rope is supplied in coils or cut lengths, or for bulk supply the wire rope can be supplied on drums.

Knight Precision Wire supplies wire rope assembly accessories such as wire rope ferrules, wire rope thimbles, wire cutters, wire rope shackles, wire rope grips and wire rope strainers.
